Mosaic Classes & Workshops

Learn the Art of Mosaic

Whether you're picking up glass for the first time or looking to expand your artistic skills, mosaic art offers endless opportunities for creativity and self-expression.

I offer private instruction, small-group workshops, and online learning opportunities designed to help students develop confidence, explore new techniques, and create artwork they can be proud of.

No prior experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome.

Teaching Philosophy

“Experiment. Be bold. Have fun creating.”

Art should be a process of discovery rather than perfection. My goal is to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring new ideas, developing new skills, and finding their own artistic voice.

Every student learns differently, and I enjoy helping each person discover the techniques and creative approaches that work best for them.

What Students Are Saying

“My first experience working with glass was under Joyce’s guidance. I came with an idea and a photo of the bird I wanted to create, and Joyce stepped me through the process so I could achieve my goal.

Whenever I struggled with a technique, she patiently showed me how and encouraged me to try it myself. Her supportive approach gave me the confidence to learn, and I felt incredibly accomplished when I finished my mosaic.”

  • Thanks so much for the jewelry class. I gave you a 5/5 rating on MakeSpace. I am wearing one of the mosaic pendants I made in class for an event tonight. Love it!
